CVE-2022-22593 An issue with memory handling was fixed in iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, watchOS 8.4, tvOS 15.3, Security Update 2022-001 Catalina, and macOS Monterey 12.2.
An issue in Bluetooth was addressed with improved support for device encryption. This issue did not affect most users, as only a very small number of users have Bluetooth enabled on their Mac. A race condition issue was fixed with updated time stamp handling. This issue did not affect most users, as it only affected users who create email signatures in Mail app. An out-of-bounds read issue was fixed that could occur when presenting legacy Exchange Server mailboxes through IMAP. This issue did not affect most users, as most user’s mailboxes are stored using IMAP rather than through Exchange server. An issue was fixed where handling of invalid PDF documents could lead to data corruption. This issue did not affect most users, as PDF documents are not often viewed through Safari. An issue in handling of iWork “federated” documents was fixed that could result in data corruption. This issue did not affect most users, as iWork “federated” documents are created by a very small number of users.
