CVE-2022-32799 Fixed an out-of-bounds read issue in Security Update 2022-005 Catalina, macOS Monterey 12.5.
An issue where installing a system update stopped some applications from starting was resolved. An issue that could cause some system services or daemons to stop was also addressed. An issue where quitting certain applications caused a kernel panic was resolved. An issue in which toggling display properties in System Preferences did not work as expected was also fixed. An issue where a system could experience reduced responsiveness after changing display settings was resolved. An issue where installing certain updates could damage the audio device was fixed. An issue where the audio at system boot was not aligned with the physical orientation of the machine was fixed. An issue where an audio device may stop responding after upgrading to High Sierra was resolved. An issue where a system could experience reduced responsiveness when rendering flash content was fixed. An issue where the resolution of some external displays may not match the resolution of the system display was resolved. An issue where an incorrect “Not Responding” icon may be displayed in the translucent status bar when an external display is connected to a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) or USB-C monitor was addressed. This issue does not occur when using legacy DisplayPort monitors. An issue where the Mac mini (Late 2016) could not be resized with the mouse was resolved.
