Due to the introduction of JWTs in Python 3.3, older versions of Python are no longer supported. Users of these versions should upgrade as soon as possible. Python versions 2.6 and 2.7 are no longer supported by the Redis team. We strongly encourage those users to move to 3.2 or 3.3. Redis users that are running Python versions 2.6 or 2.7 should upgrade as soon as possible. If upgrading is not possible, Redis users that are running these versions should consider switching to another language that is supported by Redis.
